Student project – extension of MUSE framework

Extension of MUSE framework is title of student project, which will be financed in period December 2013 – August 2014 from the program to support student scientific and development project on Faculty of Informatics.

MUSE Framework is a tool for creating NUIs (Natural User Interfaces) for large-scale tiled-dis-
play systems – display-walls and tabletops. It provides scalable approach for building touch-based
input layer using multi-touch sensor coupling method.

The project has two main goals:

  1. the implementation of interconnecting modules for existing middleware SAGE and DisplayCluster for visualization clusters
  2. implementation of modules for RGB cameras and utilisation of multi-camera recording.
