At the end of April 2015 there was grand opening of Cyber-Polygon Laboratory at Faculty of Informatics MU. This multi-purpose facility will provide space for security trainings, educational an research activities and presentations. One of the dominants of the laboratory is tiled-display wall built of 15 bezelless 46″ displays and multi-touch IR frame. The display wall uses SAGE2 visualization middleware. Members of our laboratory participated on installation and management of the wall.

Data visualization is one of research topics at SITOLA laboratory for nearly a decade. Currently, we work on application development for SAGE2 platform, partially in cooperation with university computer security team CSIRT-MU.

April 25th, 2015 we demonstrated methods of interaction with computer at event Masarykova juniverzita.
Full theme of our lecture was: How to interact with computer without the keyboard and mouse

• Today, each of us is used to interact with computer using keyboard and mouse. We can meet with touchscreens and proximity sensors more frequently now, since they are often part of modern game consoles. We will demonstrate, how these devices work and we will try to interact with the computer.

We also demonstrated usage of Kinect, Myo armband and Leap-motion technologies.

On 16 and 17, April we provided stream of multiple operations for XXV. workshop of Interventional cardiology. We streamed from the university hospital Hradec Kralove to Charles University in Hradec Kralove.
