New UltraGrid 1.3 has just been released. The release can be obtained from UltraGrid pages. The tarball with source code is available via SourceForge linked from there.

The important changes include:

• further Windows compatibility, including GPUJPEG
• added encryption support
• added AV Foundation capture (for MacOS X)

December 19, 2014. In collaboration with Česká televize and Universal Production Partners (UPP) UltraGrid introduced new concept of system for live streaming of sport and cultural events using high-speed Internet networks. Demonstration took place at CineGrid workshop in San Diego.

22.11.2014 VI. AKUTNĚ.CZ conference took place and we were there! We ensured streaming and recording of lectures from three sections(main, nursing, paralel). H.323/SIP video-conference stations, which are part of basic equipment in lecture rooms in UKB, were used.
Video recordings will be processed and published on Akutne.cz website.
