The research in the laboratory focuses on the topic of advanced network applications. Currently, there are four main directions:

• Multimedia processing and distribution.
• Advanced data visualization on scalable resolution displays.
• Parallel numerical algorithms and simulations.
• Complex network analysis.

However, we have a long history in the related research areas such as:

• Virtualization of both computers and networks.
• Scheduling for distributed systems.
• Haptic interactions.
• Security in heterogeneous computer network environments.
