Research
The research in the laboratory focuses on the topic of advanced network applications. Currently, there are four main directions:
- Multimedia processing and distribution.
- Advanced data visualization on scalable resolution displays.
- Parallel numerical algorithms and simulations.
- Complex network analysis.
However, we have a long history in the related research areas such as:
- Virtualization of both computers and networks.
- Scheduling for distributed systems.
- Haptic interactions.
- Security in heterogeneous computer network environments.
